When they were done, we covered them in olive oil, herbs and s&p.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01284361398768118360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6766825872703394586.post-11164261527699412052010-08-26T16:18:52.869-07:002010-08-26T16:18:52.869-07:00I will be curious to see your results. I can't wait until 8:31 to see how they turned out...*g*.
I bet they will be really delicious I love dried fruit.
You could do plums and peaches...and you could do tomatoes for sundried tomatoes.
My brother who takes people on hiking trips in the mountains of British Columbia would dehydrate the food and thats what they would eat. Its too heavy to carry tooo much food.

How neat!
hope you are having a great day Julie...almost the weekend..yay..
JudiJudihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01250508159885561102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6766825872703394586.post-69649151441751206492010-08-26T14:38:14.502-07:002010-08-26T14:38:14.502-07:00One of my favorite snacks too. : )One of my favorite snacks too. : )Bobbie Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13734281504628586990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6766825872703394586.post-41346934870493066792010-08-26T12:34:57.081-07:002010-08-26T12:34:57.081-07:00I borrowed one of these before and made some kind ...I borrowed one of these before and made some kind of fruit leather. It was a little tedious, which is probably why I didn't buy one of the gadgets. But maybe it's because there weren't enough trays. If I had been able to make twice or three times as much at one time, I probably wouldn't have minded. Does that make any sense? I guess it does because whenever I bake pies I like to make at least two at a time, and I always make double or triple batches of cookies. Anyway, your apples will probably be delicious.walk2writehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13501812375142037251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6766825872703394586.post-3373249553999232162010-08-26T08:40:19.813-07:002010-08-26T08:40:19.813-07:00We have one of those thingies too! I liked to bite them off the peel which turns into a rind of sorts. I also liked bananas but they aren't like the ones you see in "chip" form. We had to dry our stuff forever. I think it was longer than 24 hours! Its worth it though, and tasty too!Amber Von Feltshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12893607211762877902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6766825872703394586.post-62731974265060481002010-08-26T07:59:31.110-07:002010-08-26T07:59:31.110-07:00Great idea Julie.
