It can run rampant if left to it's own devices as it does self-seed so easily. I had to keep weeding mine out to keep it from taking over the garden. It is a lovely plant though.Serena Lewishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17789734075055678964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6766825872703394586.post-23969714868146754962012-03-15T12:00:06.155-07:002012-03-15T12:00:06.155-07:00Your salad looks DELICIOUS! I wonder if it does have seeds in those little fluffabies?

You had lettuce for brekky? That looks very yummy and good for you for starting the day off in such a healthful way. I don't think I've ever had salad for brekky.

have a wonderful day...enjoy!
my mom is still there...maybe you pass her along the way. She'll be back the beginning of April.
JudiJudihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01250508159885561102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6766825872703394586.post-60072192921060292532012-03-15T08:39:28.227-07:002012-03-15T08:39:28.227-07:00That plant looks like Alternanthera dentata to me!...That plant looks like Alternanthera dentata to me! I don't know how common it is as a houseplant, but I've seen it at one garden center before. I had a plant for a few years--I grew it indoors, so I never saw it flower, and it got too cold during the winter for the one plant I had outside to survive!

As a bonus, I've heard they self-seed pretty well, and they are exceedingly easy to root cuttings of any size. They have a tendency to drop leaves at the slightest provocation, but that's okay, because new ones grow back pretty quickly!Kenneth Moorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11619410362453458358noreply@blogger.com
