A Nordstom lunch!

Well, no big day trip so far, but my Mom, Husband, daughter and I decided to try out the Bistro at Nordstom today! It was heavenly. The seating area had tables of all sizes, and it was open and airy, but yet, you felt like you were tucked into a little hideaway! The prices were really great. They had sandwiches, pizzas, soups, salads, and desserts, and everything we ordered was fantastic! The decor was so chic...warm tones of orange and olive green, with a lot of textures and patterns going on. It was so clean too, which we all appreciated. I had a peice of 4 mushroom pizza, and they had samples of the crab bisque and mushroom soup, so I was full after that. Beware of the desserts though...they serve peices big enough for 3-4 people to share! My little girl (18 years old) had to have a peice Chocolate Paradise Cake, and it was sinfully great! If you live near one, I highly recommend giving it a try!

  1. the Nordstrom Bistros are always good, but I have to get out of the store very quickly. I don't want to be tempted by the goods in there. Very nice, but way too expensive for a cheapie like me!

  3. Aiyana- I cannot afford anything much at Nordstom either, but today in the junior's section, they had a table to stuff for 16 dollars...and some pretty watches with "diamonds" all around the face...faux eel skin straps. I was tempted...even though they were not ME at all!!! LOL.

Pudgeduck- Paradise Bakery sounds wonderful with a name like that! You would have loved the cake my dtr. had...if you love chocolate!!!

  6. I'm an old Nordstrom shopper and luncher having lived 9 years in Seattle and 15 in Alaska. They opened a store in Tampa in the International Plaza but it does seem a bit spendier than I remember; however, they provide services that not every store offers.

I hope someday that my Rat Terrier Daisey can meet your Doozer. I believe they would be fast friends
! That is, if Daisey isn't too big for her comfort. Vickie
