Happy Friday!

Well, here is a little cactus mandala-ish type thing I came up with the other night. I used regular ol' kids Crayola Crayons! Then the outer ring with a Sharpie...it is a cut-up, peiced together thing, and I quite enjoyed it. I think I am more of a collage person, I like peicing things together. It is liberating to realize this! Hey...I'm free now...I can collage away!!! Oh, happy day!!!

Maybe I just love glue. :)

Hope you all are enjoying your week, and will have a lovely Friday. I hope to have a new collage for you for Cactus Monday next week.
:) Julie

Marianne- I am glad it got there...you never really know with it being so far! (I never have faith in things I can't see, or have control over)!!! That ATC was one of my early ones...I need so much improvement...maybe now that I am realizing how much I love collage...I will get back to it! Some new ones to trade!!!

  9. You are certainly a busy little art bee. I wish I could get started on my chunky book trade stuff. I owe 20 pages that I have to get in the mail by Feb. 20 and I haven't even started. I have another 20 due on another trade on March 20. I always get them done on time, but have to dedicated two or three full days to it. What a way to live!!

  10. Aiyana- what is a chunky book trade? I will look online and see if I can find out about it!

Soulbrush- I am free to do collage and not try other things so much, because they give me stress!!! I am a crafter, not an artist! I know that now, and it gives me great happiness!!! :)

  11. That sure looks artistic to me. I love how the cactus stretches outside the boundaries of the circle. Lovely work, Julie!
