Clues:
It has small white flowers when it blooms.
It likes water, and grows overnight when it has some!!!
I'm beginning to seriously doubt it is a succulent.
The leaves are thick and waxy feeling, but not overly.
I stuck 3 leaves in the soil and they are producing side growth after 2 weeks!
Check out those scalloped leaf edges!
I LOVE this plant. It is a serious love. When I wake up in the morning it has had obvious growth overnight and it amazes me every morning! WOW! I cannot wait to take more cuttings and get a massive plant out of it, and when it blooms it is a showstopper! So delicate and sweet. I'm just waiting!
It looks like Plectranthus verticillatus - common name of Swedish Ivy. To be absolutely sure, are the stems square? If so, that's it... quickly roots from cuttings, makes wonderful hanging baskets. There are variagated and purple varieties available. Most definitely not a succulent, it's in the Lamiaceae family, which means it's a relative of the mints.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like a Swedish Ivy plant to me. I had one years ago. It was a wonderful plant. I don't know the botanical name for it.

It looks like Kalanchoe blossfeldiana, and the description of the severed leaves sprouting would fit.
