Newest area for crafting/art

Today I made time to accomplish a few things around my house! It feels good. Cleared out the pass-thru in my kitchen. Brought in my 4.5 ft. long craft table which had been moved out into the screenroom months ago and never brought back in. I positioned it right near that one shelf that housed all my craft stuff, and started clearing it out. I threw away a lot of trash that had made it's way in. YEAH! The bottom 3 shelves are low, so the kids stuff can be there. This pic is kinda dark...I need a little more light in the area...but you can see I at least got all my thousand PENS and PENCILS onto the desk area! (I didn't realize I have regular pencils, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, gel pens galore, and Sharpies and Razor Point Pilot pens, and more. This has always been a sort of fetish of mine...pens especially!!! I can sit down and just do something quick now. I also got rugs washed and ALMOST got my bathroom floor mopped. Almost.

Here is the little assistant. I try not to take so many pics of her, but how can I resist?????

  1. She is such a cutie, I understand your need to take all these photos!

Love your new space and did you hear me giggle about all your pens and pencils fetish? Must be a nurses thing. I always loved those vendors that had pens to take. lol

  2. This is the digital age. There is no such thing as taking too many pictures, especially of a cute baby! Besides, she's growing so fast, you want to save each treasured memory.

    Nice desk, too!

  6. Doesn't it feel good to get your work area ready for a project!! Your little assistant is so cute no wonder you can't resist taking photos of her. I bet that sweet little bundle of love demands frequent hugs and kisses too. As to your lighting issues. JoAnns has their Ott lights on sale now. It is one of the best things I ever bought. You wouldn't be disappointed.

  9. I have thousands of pens. When I'm delivering to warehouses and businesses, they almost always have those advertising pens there to give away. Of course, some of them are cheap and work for about a week... but some are quite nice, and I deliver there every chance I get, just to get a new pen... silly huh?
