I just came across this idea...and boy is it a good one...so colorful and I don't know about you, but I NEED to store my wrapping paper somewhere!!! Check it out here, at Thrifty Fun Bird Seed Bag Project.
great idea. not sure I'd go out to buy bird seed for the bag, but I am sure other fun bags like for oranges perhaps would work just the same. ;-) Not a feeder of birds...my cat would eat them.
Great idea to get the stuff off the floor of the closet and not have to buy a special container. I usually just rubber band my rolls of paper together and stand them in a corner of the closet. Thanks for posting the idea, Julie! Have a great weekend in the "pit." ;>)
Whoa, thanks for that great feedback on our blog. sry I did not see it at first due to it was on our old hosting site. But I made it over to check out the tire container..and it is awesome. Matti
What a neat idea! Wrapping paper was always a pain for me to store...it could be found on the floor of wardrobes, under beds and thrown on shelves but now, I use a tallish but sturdy box that I recycled from a purchased item. It sits on the floor in my storage area and it's perfect. The rolls of wrapping paper stand upright in the box so no more crushed rolls.

ReplyDeleteI don't have that type of bags. I do use the bags made of paper as liners in pathways and to deter weeds under mulch in flower beds. They work great.
ReplyDeleteClever idea. I rarely buy rolls of wrapping paper anymore because storing them is not easy. jan
