Something possessed me to take a few pics today of some of my little cuties...I have taken to giving them people names because I am too lazy to keep memorizing all those botanical names...I am so bad. I do hope you can enjoy just having a look at them. Of course, if anyone needs a botanical name, just let me know, and I'm sure I can find it for you! If you want to see anything closer-up, just click on it. Why are succulents so appealing/artistic? They are just plain old happiness generators! ENJOY!!!
I love them all! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThey look great. All nice and green. That is a good idea about naming them. I'm the same way about remembering their botanical names. Love the one you have in the pretty sallow dish. Nice grouping there.
ReplyDeleteI can see why they make you so happy Julie. They looks so healthy.
ReplyDeletenow why is that hawthoria sitting by the buddha without a pot?
ReplyDeleteWonderful collection that you have there...
Claude- I laughed out loud when I realized you had noticed that Haworthia reinwardtii just sitting there like that!!! It has been dug out of the tire outside for a month already and I have not gotten it repotted. It had to come out of the full sun.
ReplyDeleteOne of these days....I know...I am so bad. :)
I'm certainly happy you took all these photos, what happy and healthy looking plants!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful...
ReplyDeleteI got an idea - you could do a lovely tray garden with the range you have. What do you think?
Urban Green- I have always wanted to do one...as soon as I have more time to devote, I will definately do it! Thanks for rekindling the idea in my head!!!
ReplyDeleteThey are happy little things aren't they? I just bought String of Bananas and am looking for String of Pearls.
ReplyDeleteDarla- I killed both of my strings of peas and bananas!!! I could not do well enough for them...maybe they needed more water than I provided. My friend keeps hers in semi shade in a hanging dish under the eave of her house on the north side and hers are gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteI am trying some of the String Of Bananas in my full sun garden...yikes I know. I will put the other part in a hanging container on my front porch. I have things growing in my garden that 'they' say will not grow...
ReplyDeleteHi Julie
ReplyDeleteYou have such a great big green thumb! Your plants look amazing...I would have to give them people names too. I don't know plants names...
Hope you are keeping well...feeling good and having a great day
Judi

ReplyDeleteWhat is the name of the 8th one from the top? Someone just gave me a plant like that. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSiesta Sister- Hi. Thanks for your comment! Counting down from the top, that is a Zig-Zag Cactus. Here is a link that will tell you all about it: Zig-Zag Cactus.
