EDM #3- Draw a wallet

OK, there is a story behind this wallet! This is my wallet, except that I changed the bird details to "Money Bells". The way that came about was that one day, my daughter and I were driving by this fruit and vegetable market and they had a hand made painted sign that said "HONEYBELLS FOR SALE". Well I thought it said MONEYbells for sale"! I had a vision of bell shaped flowers on a bush that looked like money! Well, I did cheat a little on this wallet in that I printed out money on the computer and cut bell shapes. My first intention was to do a floral picture using them, but tonight when I knew I was going to draw a wallet, I thought I would incorporate them into the wallet. My wallet is a quilted bird pattern wallet by Vera Bradley, and I adore it. I just substituted the birds for the "Moneybells"!!!
LOL! I think the quilting came out quite well. I actually like this. I think I really like drawing. Thanks to EDM for geting me fired up! I hope you all like my Moneybell Wallet!!!

  3. That is a great drawing and love all the detail there. You got the quilting down and I wish there was a Moneybell plant too. That is funny. Have a great Monday.

  4. Hi Julie

You are the greatest drawer! You need to keep doing it and maybe you do. Great that you share. You did a great job quilting it as well. Cute story

In answer to your questions about the cottage. It is on Lake Ontario on the other side of Canada in New York State so one of the Great Lakes.

The cottage is about 1 hour from the U.S./Canada border where I drive from Ontario to New York State. On a perfect drive its 3 hours from where I live.

We can occasionally see the huge cargo ships wayyyyyy at a distance in the horizon.

Lovely to look at the sailboats and fishing boats...
