I put together a few of my beach treasures in a glass jar and put it into my kitchen window...plus a teeney weeney chihuahua that showed up out of thin air!
I notice your sea almonds! They grow into a red leaved tropical tree that's common throughout the coastal tropics! A lot of se bean collectors toss them out as "corkies" but I rather like the worn and varied textures.
Love it. I really hope you go to the beach every week. Its so beautiful, and you live so close, and just look how your collection brightens the windowsill.
Those little teeny tiny plants popping up out of the shells are precious. The plastic guy is kinda cute too.

ReplyDeleteNow that I get a better look at those little brown things, I realize they're not the little mini-coconuts I thought they were.
ReplyDeleteOh well...
That makes for a cute little display on your window. My problem is when too many cute little things becomes just more clutter.
How great sweetie! Fantastic bowl of treasure and love the chihuahua!
ReplyDeleteLooks so pretty to me!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute pot of treasures!
OOOh, you've got your baby succulents in there too. How sweet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat idea..
ReplyDeleteI too have piles, jars, bowls etc of treasures. I can't keep from collecting them.

ReplyDeleteNice collection with variety of things! I like the small plants in the shell. It looks like they are trying to have a look around them!
ReplyDeleteI can see how special this jar is and it's your treasure jar that makes wonder Julie!
