I said to the guard who you can see in pic #6, "WOW...Did you EVER think you would have EVER been guarding the Batmobile"??? He got a look like he suddenly realized what he was doing! I'm not sure about him, but it was exhilerating for me!!!
Hi Julie You're right! He probably felt a real sense of protection after you said that to him...isn't that something. Now how would you like to ride around in one of those eh?...neat.
My mom is off to West Palm again for 2 months on Monday...how has your weather been? Do you think it'll be a warmer winter?
My uncle drove an old studebaker or something he used to tell us kids was the batmobile. He said used to honk it every time we went under a certain bridge and at our house he'd jump over the rail and pretend to chase my mom up the stairs.
Memories.. Yup the batmobile was a big thing in my childhood. :)
My brother is a millionaire (not ME) and he has two warehouses full of vintage cars and motorcycles. I've never been there because he knows I don't really care about them. So sad!
Today he turned 65. I don't think he'll leave any of them to me ;)
Thanks, Julie!
ReplyDeleteThis is so stinkin' cool! Now I'll be humming the Batman theme until I'm asleep now!!
As a kid I had my own batmobile . one of the few cars I had :)
ReplyDeleteSo I would be thrilled seeing this!
You and I for a ride Julie?
What a cool ride. You are lucky to see it up close and personal.

Pretty cool! You know, I can't remember if Robin ever got to drive it. In the show, I mean.

As long as he loves me, that's all that matters.
