I was at Mom's house today and when I came out the front door, I found that the gloriosas have taken over her front garden, and even growing all into her front bushes. You can see that here. They are so beautiful! This is their time to shine.
Here are two more views from the front side of her garden area where you can see them everywhere! If you click on them, you can see more detail of the flowers.
Don't look at the dirty birdbath...my fault! Gotta get that cleaned up! ;)
Hope everyone is having a good day!
xoxo- Julie
They're looking lovely and very prolific. How do they spread so quickly? Rhizomes or seeds? I love the color. Hope you're doing okay and have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteAh, DAISIES!! Such a beautiful garden. I see where you get it from. She left you so many beautiful memories.
ReplyDeleteYour Mother's front yard looks so lush and green. I know you have a lot to do still regarding your Mother. I pray that God will give you peace and guidance in all you need to do.
ReplyDeleteBlessing.
Sweet Mom memories Julie, see how her spirit lives on?! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteWalk 2 Write...i suppose they are rhisomes...i know they have tubers and you must dig out the tuber to transplant them.
ReplyDeleteDo they usually look so nice Julie or is this year especially good for them?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your mom would really be enjoying them. It's funny how we can still hear what they would say. (even after three years may 19 for me.)
