Color changing roses with time...

Roses are such fun! They bloom one color and many times turn a whole different color as they age. Here are three at different stages. The pink one is a yellow one after about three weeks post blooming.

  2. Hi Julie,
Pretty color of rose. A few of my roses do that too. I is neat to get more than one color from one rose bush.
    Happy Monday to you.

  3. Hi Julie. You are such a sweetie, leaving comments on my blog. Love your roses. I would love to grow them but I live in the foothills and the deer are rampant. Needless to say they love roses too. I love that desk sitting area in your previous post. It looks like a great spot to sip a cup of coffee in the morning. Hugs to you.

  4. Just beautiful. Every time I see a "rose" post, I'm inspired to try growing these one more time. Until I go look at them. It's the pruning them that gets me. OK, that and killing them. ;-)

  5. I love orange & yellow roses...and mini roses are my favourite. Maybe because they are easier to look after? lol

  6. Such a beauty. We're still buried under mounds of snow and our temperature is -4 F. today. Old Man Winter is not in a hurry to leave Saskatchewan this year. So lovely to see your rose blooming :)

  7. So fun to see your roses, very pretty no matter what color. I only have shrub roses and they are also pretty but not so impressive.

  8. I'm surprised that there's not a famous rose called "Chameleon." They also seem to be shape shifters as they open up and mature. But then, aren't we that way too? :)

  9. How fun that the roses keep changing color as they age. I am always amazed to see what's happening in your garden!

  10. Gorgeous roses - wonderful photos! I love the previous entry, with your conversion of the old desk, too.

We're getting more snow tonight here in rural Maryland... only my daffodils have had the courage to emerge.

    Best wishes from Anne
