Well, in my case, happy carnivorous Monday!!!! A Venus fly trap for you! And a little Tinkerbelle toy laying around that I decided to draw. Not so exciting, but I am trying to get back in the swing with drawing. I am doing the same kind of thing each time and it makes it fun. I draw with a pencil then outline in ultra fine Sharpie (the best pens on EARTH), and my new favorite shading material is CRAYOLA crayons. Yes, they are just great! Do not mess with cheap crayons...they are disastrous!!! I am not an artist, but a kid just messin around!
Loads of love to you all,
Julie
Happy late Cactus Monday to you too! So cute. Love the drawings! Love you too!
ReplyDeleteI admire anyone with artistic ability since I have none . . . zilch, zero, nada! :-)
ReplyDeleteNeat flytrap. Do you have one? I can tell you have little people in your life. Cute drawing.
ReplyDeleteI like your drawings, they make me smile.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day ~ FlowerLady

Cool. And creations are wonderful. they Havre just the right texture...
ReplyDeleteHi Julie,
ReplyDeleteLike your drawing. I just neat to pick up a pen, marker and just draw.
Thanks for stopping bye also. I'm happy that we got some nice cantaloupe growing in the garden. It was a lot of work to have them. They are not that easy to care for (from my experience). But I learned a lot for the next time. My Girl when she was little did not like them either, but now, she loves them. Have a great evening.
cute pix! :) flytrap isn't a cactus is it? They grow wild in bogs in our state--haven't seen one so I guess its further south probably. Hope you are having a great summer. We're pretty rained out here, but I think it is letting up finally. Inspite of all the downpours the cuttings you sent me are doing very well. :) Thank you!!

ReplyDeleteMary...no Venus Fly Trap is carnivorous, but I just decided to do that rather than a cactus this week. I know, I am strange!!! LOL.
ReplyDeleteHi Julie,
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked the post. Regarding the dish towels, I added the fabric to them. I purchased a pack of plain white towel at Jo-anns. the size is 28 x 28 square. They to have some with stripes. If you can not find them You can buy them on line from the company called Colonial Patterns. They also sell their iron transfers and other neat items. I used some of my fun fat quarters and I'm in the process of making more too. I think I will get a start on next years Mother's Day gifts. Now that some of the cantaloupe plants are finished, I may add some flowers in that veggie area. I saw that Armstrongs received a shipment of new flowers. It still plenty of time for them to grow and flower.
Blessings and have a great day!
