I searched Allrecipes. com for a lentil recipe, as that was one thing I had on hand. I found this quiche. I was surprised at how light it was. Almost like eating a bit of heaven!!! If you are not a lentil fan, I would not recommend it, because that is a predominate flavor. It is, however chock full of vegetables, and I even added the cheese in mine and still ate a big portion due to the vegie/lightness of it. I did add more seasonings before cooking and also salted a bit more after cooking. My husband and I thought it was a great meatless entree.

Looks good and sounds good. Are you doing this every Monday? Are becoming vegetarian?
ReplyDeleteSounds good. We are pretty much meatless most days....we do eat fish and some pork. I will have to try this.
ReplyDeleteLisa- no we are not becoming vegetarian...just try to do meatless days sometimes. Other bloggers have inspired this in me, but my husband has always been inclined. He has always been a healthy eater, and I drag my feet! ;)

ReplyDeleteHi Julie,
ReplyDeleteThe vase came from "Martha By Mail". When Martha Stewart had her online store back in the 90's. I purchased another vase for sweet peas, but that vase broke a while ago. It was so fragile but Beautiful.
