Update on succulents in cinder blocks!

Many of you remember when I made this little cinder block succulent garden on my back slab.  It is in partial shade, and most of these babies have never lived a happier life!  The gasteria (none shown here) are sadish looking.  I think they may need more water.  I am only hand watering them about once a month.  The soil retention inside the blocks is pretty darn good...only a couple have sunken down to where I need to add a few inches.  Not bad considering it has been at least 6 months.  Here are a few pics for your enjoyment!

Pretty colors, aren't they ?

I love my succulents!
Have a wonderful day, and thanks for stopping by!
Julie

  4. Good Morning Julie,
Your succulents look beautiful and they do look very happy. A nice way to plant them.
I've been very busy in the garden. I had to take out one of my tomato plants. : ( I think I have too many things growing in a small area and not enough circulation. The little hydrangea has grown more leaves and I do have to be careful now that the days are hotter.
    Have a wonderful day
    Blessings,
    Bobbie Lynn
