When I stepped outside after casting my vote with my husband and daughter (her first time voting, so it was a BIG deal)...I found this leaf and made a rubbing to commemorate the day...I thought it was so apropos... the freedom we have to vote (among other things) and the freedom we find in nature.....it just captured the moment for me! Oh, and check out a sneak peek at one of my orange chairs!!!
I got home and was snuggling with my Doozey and decided to try and do a photoshoot even though she is a very unwilling participant! She did manage to give me a few cute poses! Here she is, my little sugar doll !
That last photo is my fav. I see she needs her nails trimmed too. Seems I always have at least one with long nails because I just can't get myself to do it. Recently hubby & I cut Daisey & Chloe's and it was a disaster. I thought we were going to end up at the emergency vet before we got Daisey to quit bleeding. Never again! Mom ordered me a PetiCure for Christmas and I can't wait to use it. Vickie
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little doozey.
ReplyDeleteVickie- yes...LOL...that is one thing I wanted to do today is get her nails cut! I got a 2 year thingy with Petland for 10 dollars , and they will cut her nails for the two years......so we will go over tomorrow and get them done. I cannot do nails either...too yuck for me!!! Like nails on a chalkboard!!!
ReplyDeleteLisa- Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun thing to do to remember her first voting day.
ReplyDeleteDoozey certainly had a successful photo shoot! so cute and such a ham with those big doozey eyes.
Last photo is my favorite too. Doozey has such a poignant look on her face.
