My friend, Karen came down tonight and I asked her to try and come up with an idea for Cactus Monday. It started out she thought of a patchwork cactus, using squares of paper to form it, but then it turned to circles to make the edges smoother. We added some color penciled rocks and a cute little bug for good measure. I think it turned out looking like a marshmallow man, so we laughingly call it the Michelin Marshmallow Cactus! A little fun on a Sunday night!!!
Happy Cactus Monday!

Who's that little shiny guy in the corner with the big jaws?
ReplyDeleteCindy...is it some sort of beetle???
ReplyDeleteYes, I believe it's a shiny, metallic, big-jawed beetle. So if your cute, friendly cactus has no spines to poke you, the beetle will bite your toes...beware! (hee-hee!)
ReplyDeleteThis is so creative. I love the shiny bug too. Happy CActus Monday.
