It is late on Saturday evening...oh, wait...it's now after midnight, which takes us up to Sunday morning! I am looking at my two sleeping grandbabies, and thinking they couldn't look more like angels! They came over this afternoon with their parents for a BBQ and I think we ended up wearing them out! As you see below, they played in the sprinkler and made bubbles and ran around for a hour. After dinner, my Mom and I took them both for a walk around the block. Emily walked. No stroller. She loved it. Donovan carried a Coleman lantern, to be our leader! We saw so many interesting things, including animals, the moon, a star, cars, trucks, sidewalks, etc! Such excitement!!! I am waiting to see if Emily sleeps through the night or not. I hope so. She needs to start doing this so her parents can get more sleep. She is almost 2, and they really deserve some sleep after raising the two kids to this point! I think they are just plain exhausted.
Emily knew she was cute in her new bikini!
Both so cute...but you know that!Hope she slept through the night so you did too.
ReplyDeleteYes, my Saturday was fun too.
And my grandkids weekends back to back GRAND as well. Lucky us.
This sounds like a perfect day!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it Julie!
Hope today will be perfect for you as well!
I hope your Grandbaby slept. It is very tiring to not get a full night's sleep. I thought maybe some of that rainbow might cross over this post too.
ReplyDeletePrecious...what a great way to spend a Saturday evening!

Julie- just read that we should eat carbs before bed if having trouble sleeping. I did last nite and first time in 2 years that I slept 6 hrs!!!! Of course I worked my butt off in the garden-digging and lifting tons for 4 hrs. That combo worked. Will see what tonite brings!!
ReplyDeleteoooh look at her cute little tummy, i just want to smooch it! aren't they just pure delight. love 'em both. thanks for the feast of pics.
