I felt compelled to re-try drawing my mug again. First attempt was in last post below. This time I used Sharpie pens and made it more zentangly and fun. I may attempt this one more time in a different way with pastels next time. We shall see.
I can see that at times, I become uptight and don't have fun like I am supposed to...otherwise, what's the point??? Duh!
Hope everyone had a good week, and now on to a happy weekend!
xoxo- Julie
I like both mugs in their own way!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend Julie!
You are determined that's for sure. Good re-do.
ReplyDeleteThis does look like fun Julie. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI like this one best.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think of blogspots new designs. I see you picked the same one that I did. Its a little more difficult to get around and figure out what you are doing but slowly but surely I think I have made my way through it. I don't like the header on mine so I may try something else or not,
Cute mugs. I may have to take a break from my dolls and do something new just for a change.
How are your succulents doing? Mine are all starting to perk up a bite with the weather.
I like what the Sharpie look too. Can't wait to see it in pastels. Love the photos of your succulents that you added to your blog. Very colorful.
ReplyDeleteOh, and love the great photos on the sidebar.
ReplyDeleteI love this zentangly version also. Now I want to see the pastel version.
ReplyDeleteKeep having fun.
Hi Julie, Anything we do needs to be enjoyable... If not, we don't need to be doing it.... You need to enjoy your drawing/sketching ---and just have fun with it...
ReplyDeletePersonally, I liked the first one you did better... But--that is just my opinion. You need to do the one you like the best...
Hugs,
Betsy
Hi Julie,
ReplyDeleteThis version is my favorite, it has a whimsey look, and whimsey is always fun!

I love the way you had fun with this. Most definately looks like you loosened up here. Is that true? Anyhow... It's pretty and I like it.
