I have found the motherload of fairy rings! Sadly it is right in my own neighborhood...in a neglected yard. With all of our recent rains, these lovely patches appeared and I knew I had to walk down for a photo and a drawing session!
The fairies must be have had a great party in this quiet garden. You captured the mushrooms wonderfully in your sketch. They look like they are about to pop right off the page. Are those pastels that you used? I have never tried them.
Lisa- yes, I did use pastels for the drawing. They are so fun because they are ultra blendable. I have that big darn case full of about 30 that my SIL gave me, and they are fun to use with so many color options!
