Well now...this is different!
Good evening! I got home from work tonight and found on Teri's Painted Daisy's, this new kinda thing that is being seen on Flickr, evidently, HERE! You take a magazine subscription card from a magazine, and do art work on it to match up with whatever the magazine name is. She shows three that she did on her blog. Of course, hers are great (she is an artist)! BUT...You know I had to try it too. Here is one I just did in about 5 minutes with my colored thin line Sharpie pens. I thought it was fun, but of course, I always wish I had some talent! Ha...that's a joke...but this is fun and I hope anyone who has an urge will try it! It is fun and relaxing...especially after a stressful day at work!

Lullabelle says hello!
.jpg)
Here is a pic of my Aunt Rosie holding Lu a few days ago...she had on her pink harness, and my aunt's pink dress makes her look even more adorable!
Well...looks like we have almost made it up to HUMP day again this week! I am excited because I am meeting some of our kids and 1 grandchild at Disney this weekend. Since my daughter and I had just gone to Animal Kingdom a few weeks ago, we will go to Magic Kingdom on Saturday this time. I think I will be the one to watch the 2 year old while everyone else goes on all the roller coasters! That is fine with me...heh...who will be having the best QUALITY time??? Hmmmmm...Oh yeah, I will!!! YEAH!!
You may have noticed the latest addition to my garden blogger links! Yes, this morning, I fell, literally, into Martha Stewarts blog! Google Alert led me right to her, via a "succulent" alert. Her gardens are very beautiful, and I left her a comment! LOL. I wonder if she will come visit my blog. If you do Martha...welcome and howdy! I admire you!
I am having a wonderful American Idol evening...Syesha sure looks beautiful...and what a pick up on her singing...she is doing great! I adore the two Davids. I am such a boob...I cry each week whenever someone goes home...now that we are down to the last 4 it is hard. I am addicted to the show...can't help it. I always pick up dinner on Tuesday night so we can have a special meal while we watch! LOL...(I'm so silly).
Lullabelle (aka Doozey) sends her love to all of the bloggers! She and I say "See ya'll later"!

BTW...
Someone a while back had asked me where they could buy a Flippin Flapjacks plant, and I cannot find where that comment was placed on my blog. I apologize for not answering right away, but time got away from me, and it never got done. Anyway...just want to say you can generally find them in any garden center...Lowes, Home Depot, Target, to name a few, or a locally owned garden shop that has succulents available. They are fairly common to see for sale. Don't be concerned if the one you find is all green, with no red...it will turn red once you get it out in full sun!
The other thing I just wanted to put out here is this great place to find old, out of print, and just a lot of books about succulents and cacti is called Half.com by EBAY. I just ordered three books here...I seem to gravitate toward collecting the older books. Another kind of collecting addiction, I suppose. Anyway...have fun!
