Will too many Wasabi peas give you a stroke or heart attack???

That is what I am wondering while sitting here stuffing my face with a whole large can of them! As I have mentioned before, I love snacking on anything round, that pops in the old mouth and you chew it...well this can of Wasabi peas just won't stop calling my name..... if I just never stop eating them, and polish off the whole 9.9 oz. can tonight...could I suffer some deleterious effect??? I just LOVEEEE wasabi peas! Oh goodness. I could be in for trouble!

Got off work tonight at 10pm, stopped to get milk, and then went for a walk with daughter. Work is fun, pleasant (mostly), and I think I will eventually be able to learn what I need to know to be really good at it. That's the good news. The other good news is that next week is payday again! My second check!!! YEAH! Oh yeah, there is no bad news. I have a lot to be thankful for.

I had wanted to show you a close up of the okra leaves on my plants. They are so pretty...large and green, with a splashed drop-like area of blood red in the center of each! They are really neat. I was looking online at what the flowers will be like, since I've never grown it before...and they are beautiful too...white or beige with red in the center again!!! My plants are so close to flowering, I can just feel it.

Well, that is about all I can tell you, except that I am working on a top secret sort of Fall or Halloween giveaway. I am making 6 ATC's, and when I get them all finished I will post and have a drawing to send them out. It will be fun! They are Monster ATC's! Hehehe...this is gonna be frightfully fun!!!
xoxo- Julie

I LOVE wasabi peas too! I haven't gotten them since I got here because I used to get them at bulk stores and they don't have very many here. Not in the budget. :( I used to get an entire bag every week. A lot of them are actually just horse radish and mustard mixed, but YUM!

I'm so glad you are enjoying your job. That makes it a whole lot easier to go to work, doesn't it?

Have a great weekend! Chris

I love wasabi too. I just found Blue Diamond almonds in wasabi-soy sauce flavor. I give them 2 thumbs up. PS - enjoy your blog very much.

Hi Julie,
Wow, wasabi peas! I can only have a few of those. Sounds like work is coming along great. Happy for you. Can't want to see photos of your Okra plants. How do you cook them? I have only had them in soup.

ATC cards? cool cant wait to see them. At Arron Brothers they have neat frames for them.

Zinnia plants will grow and grow. I had one in a container and it did the same thing. I had to make sure that it did not topple over. If I plant them again in a container I need to make sure that I find one a bit larger. They are a fun and easy plant to grow. I will check out Mr. Brown's blog too. Thanks for letting me know. Have a great day.
