Flowers, embroidery, sushi and fun.

Oh, man....i am elated right now regarding learning a new way to move photos from the gallery on my cell phone, to email.....and now directly into a post here!!!!! Crap! The old way was so time consuming!!!! Well, anyway....i am such a happy camper now!!!

This post is being done on my phone, so it will be all type, then photos. Maybe one day I will find that this Blogger App allows me to place the text aroun the photos, but so far....it's a no go.

I took a close up of pink roses cut in my kitchen window this morning with light behind. They are so pretty here in the kitchen.

There are two shots of the inside of a new sushi hangout for daughter and I. It is called Saki Too, at Traditions, in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The food is devine, great prices, and the decor looked much like how the inside of my house should look!!!!

I noticed that I do have some of the same touches (a floral couch, and a love of the same colors).  There is a wall in my livingroom i have been wanting to paint a bold color.....so I may just do it now! It would only be a few hours worth of time.

There are a few pics here of my DIL sewing and showing a beautiful embroidery she completed, and made into a pillow with envelope back, and inserted a pillow form. She created it for a friend who does roller derby,  and  her RD name is Mocha. Didn't it turn out great????

Here are also a few pictures of my DH, and the grands at a neat fall market that offered a corn maze, hayrides, a pumpkin patch, food, carmel and candy apples. I have to say that it was a lot of fun for us, as these type events just are not available in south Florida.

Bedners Market, and farm in Boymton Beach, Florida will be continuing this fall fun through Oct.31, and then........watch out.....the Christmas festivities will begin not long after!

howdy. I have a new smart phone, but I haven't gotten around to figuring out how to do mobile blogging yet... too preoccupied with other things to take it on. Should though, it would be convenient. Those Grandbabies are growing like weeds!

Hi Julie, looks like you have been having lots of fun. Those roses are beautiful. Your friend did a good job on the embroidery I am sure it will be well received. Going places with the grandies always makes the events much more enjoyable just watching the kids having fun.

Such fun photos of happy times. And now you are techy! That little sweetie always draws me in. Such a cutie.

Funny how we connected. We were just there for each other when we needed it the most. Big hugs to you my friend.

Duh! I didn't ever think of Blogger being an app? I know people blog from their iPads and phones but I guess I thought it was done by magic! Never thought about an app! That's alright, I have the "old" iPad, no camera so likely wouldn't log from here any way! Very cool that you are!!

A quick note about my blog post - When I said I love pumpkin best roasted with the skin on...I meant cut into chunks with seeds removed, coated with olive oil, then sprinkled with garlic powder and salt, All Purpose or Vegeta seasoning. I like to roast it until the skins are starting to crisp at the edges. Although pumpkins can certainly be roasted whole too, I've never done it. :)

Hi Julie *hugs*
Sweet sweet pictures...Love the pillow. She did a wonderful job. It is sooo original! Your grandchildren are sooo sweet as usual and nice to see your handsome hubby too.

Everyone looks to be having such a great, happy time...the weather looks great. I adore that pink flower too...

It sounds like you are doing so well...*hug*

Thank you for your kind comment about Janine. I hope she will be alright. She has to have so many tests to see exactly what is what...keep the prayers.

have a great evening..

Great pictures, Julie!
I sure wish I could do what you do, I have no idea how to go about blogging from the phone. And I know there are apps you can get for iphones that aren't available for blackberries. Oh well, I type faster on the computer that I do on my phone anyway. Probably a good thing!

My phone is smart, but I'm not enough to figure out how to blog from it. It takes me forever just to text something. Maybe when winter gets here, things will slow down enough for me to figure out how the apps work.

Looks like you and the family are having a grand time this autumn. Your DIL is one talented young lady.

It's been way too long since my last visit here. The grandkids are growing up so quickly, but not so grown up that they don't want to hang with you. Yes, the roses are so pretty. Despite our cool (okay, cold) temps, there are still a few rose blooms out there. Happy Halloween to you. Hope all your treats are sweet.
