Well, this is strange...I have a few more options in my posting window! New fonts, colors, sizes, bold, italics...wheeeeeee...what fun!!!
So to celebrate, I will do a rainbow post! LOL.
Today I re-certified in CPR.....making this my 30th year! Wow...time sure flies!!! You do this every 2 years, so I have done it 16 times now. Good grief...I must be very old...well, at least I feel like I must be!!!

Today I sent a resume out for a really wonderful sounding job...I hope I get called for an interview because I could tell them about some of my experience with Aspergers Syndrome and ADHD, which may be a factor in my getting the job. We shall see...fingers crossed!!!
Yesterday I moved 3 black-eyed pea plants from the BASKET of plants (too many to keep in there), to the ground bed. Throughout the day today they were lookin good! I plan to wait until Sunday and see how they are fairing before moving the rest. I pray they will all do so well and I will have a bumper crop! Yeah!
The eggplant are continuing to flower...can't wait to see a real live eggplant hanging there...it will be so exciting!!!!!
The tomato plants are doing well so far. I go out at 7am and sun is hitting them from then through to about 9am (only 2 hours)...but I will see how this goes, cause it will seriously get too hot real soon, and I am fearful of keeping them out in full sun. Where they are, they get bright light, but not DIRECT except that 2 hours in the AM. Sure hope my tomato experiment goes well, with lots of payoffs in a while!!!
Tonight we went out to a neat pizza place that cuts it into small squares! I found it amazing how much LESS pizza you eat, and yet you feel full. Psychologically it was astounding! It is now my new favorite place to go! They have a game room for kids too, so everyone is happy!!!
It is possible that I haven't had so much fun prior to them giving me all these options in my NEW POSTING area that you might have to expect more rainbow posts in the future as well! Ha!

A new garden friend, tomatoes, and more!
The guy above was a Mother's Day gift from my son and his wife! This little garden gnome is playing the accordion! I have a well made child's accordion that I try to learn on, but I am too uncoordinated to learn a darn thing. It kind of functions as a harmonica does, making one note as you pull in and another as you pull out! Very confusing for my brain, it seems! My grandson likes to play around with it. Anyhow, when they saw this gnome, I suppose they felt I would love it, and guess what? I LOVE HIM SOOOO MUCH!!! I really love his color too...sort of a green patina...so perfect for a garden, eh? Gnomes are universal happiness makers too, which is the major reason to love one! A big thankyou to my kids for finding him for me!!!
Now, this morning (Tuesday AM), I drilled holes about 1 inch from the bottom (along the sides) of these 5 gallon ORANGE pots (don't ya just love them already)??? Most of you know my fav color is orange, he he he!!!
I filled them with Miracle Gro and cow poop and compost. Buried each plant up to it's leaves, added tomatos cages, and have them in a sunny, yet shaded spot. I am hoping to move all the pots each day from the shade to the sun from 8am to 10am, then return them to the shade again. This is one big south Florida experiment!!! I hope it works! It is so blasted hot and with intense sun...we have to take precautions and hope for the best! I want my darn bush tomotoes, gosh darn it all to heck!
Below are just some close-ups I took of my lovely Kalenchoe! I am so in love with this fascinating plant! No matter what, you can always find a gorgoeus picture of some part of it! Nothing compares to this wonderous plant...must be straight from God, for sure, at least in my book!

My first eggplant flower!!!
This opened fast...or so it seemed anyway! I have about 10 buds on my two eggplants, and BAM, this one was opened this morning! It is a purdy little thing!
I can't wait what to see what happens next! This one is on my purple eggplant...I wonder what the flowers on the white one will look like. Maybe white??? We shall see.
Playing with grandkids today, and I just baked a chocolate cake. Will ice with vanilla, and make a giant heart made of red strawberries tomorrow! Should be fun.
