Artsy American flag, and first images of Shreveport!

I am back home and so very happy to see my house and take my first shower and good nights sleep last night...it was heavenly! It was sad to leave my MIL, and the kids and grands, but you know how it is getting back home!!!

Here is a HUGE flag that was hanging in the airport...it had been covered (in the red and white areas) with patriotic artwork! It was so great.

The Shreveport watertower...I always try to get shots of watertowers where we visit! Strange, eh?

A few beautiful trees with changing leaf colors in my MIL's neighborhood! They were gorgeous! I have more that I will show in the next few posts!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Wonderful flag autumnal color. Just love that feeling of arriving to the comforts of home after a long trip. Water towers are a good thing to photograph while traveling. They always announce the name of the town they service.

Hey, if I can take pics of graveyards, you can take pics of watertowers... who am I to judge?

So glad that you enjoyed your trip.

The flag with drawings is an interesting concept and nice to look at. The big tree with small trees on either side, with different colors of leaves looks beautiful.

I love that flag. I've contributed to a couple of friendship quilts over the years and that flag reminded me of them. jan
