Free vintage patterns for embroidery!

If anyone who comes to my blog is interested (even minimally) in embroidering vintage patterns, please consider visting a blog I just discovered this evening. It is done by Floresita at My Vintage Transfers, where you can actually click on the pattern picture and it will enlarge and you can print it out. By using a transfer pen, you can trace it, then iron it onto your fabric and you are ready to go! (She has the mirror image there, so it will come out perfect)!

For any cactus Monday members, she even has a few cactus designs that are adorable! They are free to use and not under copyright...so I'm just sayin...have fun there!!!

Hi Julie
Oh thank you for letting us know. I will want to go and check this out. I enjoy embroidery so it'll be fun to look at least.
I like the one with the parakeet and the crackers...are you doing the cactus one?

Hope all is well..and I see your weather has warmed up too. Nice for you all and my mom who arrived there this morning.

Have a good rest of the evening and week!
Judi *hugs*

She has cute stuff, and you can see it all together on her Flickr site without having to scroll through dozens of blog posts. A lot of them would make good coloring pages, too!

I used to do some embroidery. I am not very good at it though. I think it is a beautiful art.

I love the parrots. Our two parrots agree that crackers are fun!
