Little Crocodile, is really Little Gem!

In a little tiny trip through Home Depot today, I found this cute little hybrid called "Little Gem", or Cremnosedum. It was mislabeled as Little Crocodile, which I found out from Rosemarie, who I consider an expert on succulents! Thanks Rosemarie!!!. Evidently, Little Crocodile has scaly stems (which I don't know about on mine since it is so tightly compacted) and I will have to wait until it is replanted or grows a bit. It is described as having leaves like fat, dark green "beads", that can blush bronze in strong light. The leaves already have a sort of sheen to them, and since it was the only one I've ever seen, and the only one there...I had to buy it, or I feel I would have gone crazy trying to find another one, never being able to get it out of my mind...I like the idea that it will turn bronze in sun...so gotta get it out there and see what happens!
