A little embroidery for you!

My Mother in law passed away a few days ago, so I am in Shreveport, LA right now...

In my free early morning and late evening hours I have done a little more on my butterfly peice. This one is relaxing because i am just filling in or highlighting the pre-existing pattern in the fabric (lazy mans way).

Yesterday my sister in law and I were out shopping and I came upon these linen towels by a company called Mud Pie. The lobsters were emboidered almost entirely of french knots!!! I want to check out Mud Pie online because a large portion of what they had in this store were lobster items.

I am posting on my cell phone, so pics may be out of order.

Xoxo- Julie

Sorry to hear you have had another loss in your family. It hasn't been a good year. It is good to have something relaxing to do, to take your mind off things. I like what your doing on the fabric, I think that is such a cool idea. I'm thinking of you, Jan

You have had your share of sorrow lately. It is good that you have your embroidery to keep your mind occupied. So sorry to hear about your MIL.

We sell some Mud Pie items in the shop where I work. I like a lot of their merchandise.

I bet this lobster gives you great ideas.

Its amazing how busy hands calm the heart. I'm so sorry for your loss. God bless you and your family. (these little lobsters are just too cute, and I love the idea of stitching over a printed fabric. Neat.)

My sincere condolences on the loss of your mother-in-law and I can relate that keeping ones hands busy by either stitching, crocheting or knitting can be so calm and soothing. Really like the french knotted lobster and your butterfly looks lovely. Take care.

Oh Julie, I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm praying for you and your family. I love your lobsters and your plants are gorgeous. As for my deer, you can have them. They eat my plants so my cat is the only one who likes them. LOL!!
