OMG! I forgot my thirsty screenroom houseplants!
As Claude pointed out in a comment on my last post, I indeed did forget my new Corn Plant (Not too thirsty, but somewhat thirsty anyway)...my rescue off the street...who seems to be holding up fairly well. I read about them and they cautioned against overwatering...maybe just monthly, so I have done that. I best give it some water tonight though before I withhold too long!
Then you can see my pot of Angelwing Begonia, and Dracaena godseffiana
"Florida Beauty"! I really love the leaves of both of these, and pray to God I never kill them! They are just so beautiful together in the same pot too!
So, now, maybe this REALLY concludes the pics of all my water thirsty plants!
Hope everyone is ready for a fantastic Friday, and as my blogger friend, TOOTSIE always says... FERTILIZER FRIDAY...so get out there and fertilize something...anything...JUST DO IT!!! LOL! Looking forward to a great weekend, and a few cactus beers!
Julie

Hope the beers aren't for youtr thirsty plants! Love Begonias. Have a great weekend.
well, if you keep forgetting them, no wonder they're thirsty... LOL
I like the angelwing.
Happy weekend Julie. I have one of those corn plants and it survives my care or non care. They are amazing plants.
P.S. Your drawing is cute.
They look wonderful.
Show the love to your plants!
I LOVE Dracaena Massangeana! I'm surprised that the info you read on this plant says not to overwater them and...only once a month? My Dracaena Massangeana plants (corn plant) are very thirsty and I find I have to give them some water (about two cups in a large pot) every couple of days. They're thriving! Their leaves start to shrivel at the edges and go brown at the tips if I let it go for longer than a few days without watering....go figure. This link says that the soil should be kept moist at all times - http://tinyurl.com/82j7eg However, it does say not to overwater them with water that is fluoridated or high in chemicals...apparently, it causes damage to the leaves.
I love your begonia and dracaena combo too ~ :)
I did fertilize today! LOL You need a cactus beer after all the watering! Have a great weekend!!
