What fish is in a "Dolphin Rueben" sandwich?

What fish is in a "Dolphin Rueben"? I looked it up, because I knew it wasn't a dolphin like Flipper! According to Wikipedia, it is actually Maui-Maui fish, whose common name is dolphin-fish. Here's what it said...just to set our minds at ease:
-------------------------------------
Although its common name is dolphin-fish, the mahi-mahi is a fish not a dolphin, and is not at all related to the Delphinidae family of mammals whose common name is simply dolphin. An alternative name for mahi-mahi is simply dolphin, or common dolphin. The English language adopted the Hawaiian word, mahi-mahi without formalizing its spelling
-----------------------------------------------------
I never knew which fish it actually was, so it's great to know now! Yeah...(it sure tastes great)! :)

I had Mahi-Mahi ONE time 25 years ago in Hawaii, and found the texture too "meaty" so I've never had it again. However, it's good to know that all is not as it seems by the name.

Jan- yes the sandwich has all of the components of a regular rueben, except fish is in and corned beef out! :)

Even though I don't know about this food item, this post is interesting to read.

Julie, I LOVE Mahi Mahi and it brings back memories of the very first time my boss took me to lunch as a thank you for doing a good job. I was only 20 and we went to an expensive waterfront Polynesian restaurant in Seattle and I had no idea what to order. She ordered Mahi for me and I have loved it and the memory every since!

OH, such a relief....thanks so much for the clarification, Julie! I've never had Mahi-mahi but, apparently, they are found in the ocean waters on the western side of Australia.
