Cosmos and an animal love affair!!!
Here are our latest seed planted Cosmos! Our seed package showed shades of yellows and oranges...but we got varying shades of pinks, magentas, and lavenders! Oh, I think I see a white one in there too! They are so long stemmed, and blow so sweetly in the breeze! Viewable from my kitchen window, I am in heaven!
Please click on this link to watch a video of an orangutan who falls madly in love (or in extreme LIKE) with a hounddog! It is heartbreakingly cute, and brought a tear to my eye! If you love animals, you won't have a dry eye!!! Thanks to my sister-in-law, Lynn, for sending to me!!!

Hi Julie *hugs*
First off thank you for the sweet comments on my blog today... *s*... I really have enjoyed making the 2 clocks I've made so far. There could be so many different themes....
I love your header...are those a wild rose bush? Lovely lovely.
Your cosmos are doing so well. Did you plant them from seed? Love where you have them planted also.
I watched the video....oh my that is so very sweet. Can you even imagine the 2 of them bonding like that? What would make them grow so attracted to each other right from the start I wonder. Its so beautiful.
I hope you are having a great day today Julie....

Judi! Thanks for your comments! The rose in my blog title area is my new Drift Rose...it is a miniature that grows 18 inches tall, and three feet wide! No need for fertilizer or dead heading! It has been covered in blooms since I got it...simply an amazing plant!!!
Oh these are gorgeous Julie and from seed no less. I see all you ladies in the south and everything is blooming. All we have so far are dandelions!!
Gorgeous flowers, Julie!
I've seen that 'love affair' recently on TV here.....a beautiful and heartwarming story.
Wonderful cosmos...beautifully splattered...
Off to watch the video...
Take care:)
What a pretty photo of your cosmos. They are fun to grow. Thanks also for the video link. : )
Just can't trust those packages. These cosmos are beautiful.
I love cosmos! Around here the highway dept plants flowers like those and wildflowers along the highway..so pretty, poppies, cosmos, that sort of thing and little sunflowers too. :)
I love cosmos...any color. The pink, magenta, white mix is neat because the leaves are so fine. Totally different than the orange ones. I have been reseeding the orange ones for a year and a half. Because of pollination some are now yellow and some are even bi-colored. They produce so many seeds. I'm sharing with all my friends.
Have a great weekend!
A gorgeous picture - Love those pinks and the fresh yellow green. Just beautiful.
