Good morning!
My daughter in law snapped this pic of Doozey being her usual cute self. Why do I love this little doggy so much? She looked int o my eyes last night as I was kinda laying back on the couch and then started to give me a leg massage! WOW! I could feel my heart swell up when she looked into my eyes though...it was a look like we both just know how much we care about the other (or that was my interpretation anyway)...am I starting to sound like Shirley MacLaine??? Oh dear. Oh well...now I understand what she is talking about when she talks about her dog.
Dooze says "please don't look at my toenails...my Mom plans to cut them this weekend..."!!!
I woke up at 4:30am...this is my first weekend to work, and I am kinda nervous. I hope everything goes well. I'm sure it will. I am a worry wart!
I saw a cool idea at Cloth, Paper, Scissors Today for making a fabric/cloth book. I always want to make art, but have no where to display it...and this I can just collect. I have other books I like to collect...so this would be a format I could live with! I have a pair of circus tickets that are so pretty...I plan to get them in there somewhere! Art from scraps...that is me!
Have a fun weekend, everyone!!!

Doozey is your little soulmate. such a cutie.
I know you will do great on the job this weekend.
I love that little Doozey. I want her to come to DC for the summer.
Jan- Doozey says she would love to come...under two conditions...if the cherry trees are still blooming, and if she can bring her Mom with her!!! ;)
Oh isn't she just adorable! Animals can make my heart leap as well.
What job are you starting Julie? probably missed something on your blog........
have a nice weekend♥
Cute and cool, Doozey:)
Good Luck on ur job and scrap art dear Julie.
I remember reading some of Shirley McClaine's books back in the 80s. Your little Doozey is a real love bug.
I've got 7 5-gallon buckets planted with cucumbers, 3 kinds of pumpkins, watermelon, 2 different tomatoes. Some other containers have 3 kinds of peppers. No okra though:) If it doesn't stop raining here, everything will rot.

Doozey is so cute!
Hi Julie, I have added you to the list for the giveaway. Yes, I watched the tutorials too and bought the monks cloth and wool strips and I'm ready to go but afraid to take the first step. I am so silly sometimes I have to laugh at myself.
I need for you to email me so I can have your email address if you win.
Don't worry about my email address being on here. I have it posted on my blog anyways

Hi Julie *hugs*
Your little Doozey is so cute. Nice that she keeps you company like that and I can see you have a connection with each other...sweet.
I hope your weekend went well at work.
Well we have been crying the blues with the weather not being very springlike at all and now today is it 96F. It went up about 40 degrees from last week. Hopefully the water from all the rains will dry up...I hear we're in for more rain on the weekend.
Have a great week Julie.

Hi sweetie! You feel the same way about Doozey as I do about Scout. I swear she understands when I talk to her. And I know what she wants also. I love her so much! I love the picture!
Oh your little Dooze is such a sweetheart. I know just what you mean about the moment. I came home tonight and missed my dog Casey so much. I miss our connection and I miss her companionship. I'm glad you both have each other. And leg massages from a dog is pretty awesome! That cloth book sounds fun. I hope your job went okay. Those are bean seeds I just planted. Some kind of climbing bean. They were so white and pretty! Thanks for coming to see me. I've missed you too.
Great mid-air photo! If I had a doggie, I'd be the same :)... someday!
