What an interesting flower, is it a succulent?

Jan- no, it is a Lily!!! They grow wild in my backyard, and mine are always months later than the ones at Moms house! Her's were in force 4-5 months ago. It is strange, as she only lives 5 doors down from me!!!

Maybe your lilies are planted deeper than her lilies. It sure is a beauty.

Love this flower. I actually bought a tuber this past spring...and have misplaced it. I don't think (mid-life brain is doing me in) I planted it but who knows...perhaps it will surprise me with a bloom. That would be a wonderful surprise!

Beautiful flower. I don't know that one so have never grown it. Lovely colour. Your garden just thrives with your love and attention.

I love this bloom. I need to get myself another rhizome of it. Is it true they grow like weeds in Florida?
