While I was out of commision with my cold/flu, the Jasmine came to life on the fence! These are two shots of only the gate, which I find endearing! This gate is so hard to hold open all year, due to the thick growth of the plant material all over it, but in spring, it all becomes worth the extra efforts. I love flowering gates!!!

Oh the fragrance of the Jasmine!
Your gate is gorgeous and I love your haiku. Perfect for a bright spring day.
Love your little pome there. I could just smell the Jasmine. : )
Wow that Jasmine plant is loaded with flowers, your garden must smell wonderful!
Julie, that is truly lovely and I'll bet the fragrance is wonderful. Love the scent of Jasmine, my allergies...not so much!
Gald you're feeling better!
I have a Confederate Jasmine bush in my yard ---but it's definitely not ready to bloom yet... I'll send you a picture when it blooms. It looks just like yours!!!!
We've had a wonderful day today at the beach... Beautiful weather after the rain yesterday (clear, sunny, breezy, warm---PERFECT)...
Hugs,
Betsy
thanks for your comment Julie. Love Jasmine and when I go for my walks a few of the homes have them along their gates and what a great fragrance while walking by. I really like the photo that you have at the banner.
Have a great day.
That's soooo pretty. Only a true gardener would allow the Jasmine to stay growing on the gate and put up with the incovenience it causes when opening and closing.

I love the Confederate Jasmine. Is that what yours is? Our neighbor on the corner has it growing on about 40 feet of fence and you can smell it throughout the whole neighborhood.
I love your little haiku.
Yep! That Gate is worth the struggle. I looove the smell of Jasmin.
