3 Irises blooming, and more planting...
I found 3 Iries blooming yesterday and was forced to take pics with my darn cell phone, which is a peice of crap...sorry for my french...but at least they turned out well enough to see a little bit. I did not have my camera with me, and it was irritating. Anyway, aren't they such little beauties??? I just love these simple ones that seem to do fairly well in shade here. I still don't think I would take a chance on them in my yard cause there basically isn't any shade, except where I rarely go...under the Sapodilla tree. I was thrilled to have found them though!
Today I planted Sweet Basil seeds, and Milkweed seeds. I will post some pics when I start to see any action!!!

They are so pretty, Julie....lovely colours!
such garden excitement going on at your place!! whoohoo, can't wait to see all the beauty.
I like these little irises. I have requested some for Mothers Day. I hope I receive them. Good luck with your seed planting.
Oh, pretty irises! I think your cell phone did alright showing the three different variations. I'm planting some sweet basil seeds too. :)
Hi Julie, WOW---aren't those Irises pretty??? We have several buds --but no blooms yet. Once the Tulips are gone, hopefully the Irises will take their place.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy
Lovely flowers! In my beginning posts, all the photos were taken using a cellphone ,a 3.2 mp cellphone camera. But now recently I have bought a decent camera and I continue my blog taking pics with my camera!
Wow perfect iris!
They would make a lovely middle of a mandala!
Have a nice Sunday Julie!
Don't think I've ever seen irises that look like these. The color combinations are crazy beautiful. Almost don't look real. Of course, I know not one think about irises except that I like looking at them.
