An evening walk through the yard...

I took the camera for a stroll through the yard at around 7pm this evening, and here is some of what I "saw"...

Okra getting started...

3 shots of gloriosa lily plants coming out everywhere...but still no blooms! They are the thin green things with tendrils...

My secret hideaway...I need to put a bench out here amongst the trees...

I pointed up and got a shot of this quite messy palm tree in the backyard, with clear blue sky peeking through...

Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone!
xoxo- Julie

So beautiful - colorful and tropical. All this time I envisioned your yard covered in tire gardens! LOL

Beautiful.

You just reminded me that I used to have glorisa lily corms and I didn't plant them this year. I wonder where they went.

Hey Julie! Love that first shot the best. Your kalanchoe's are awesome and the color....wow! A bench would look so great and be such a super place to read under that tree. Thanks for the wonderful evening tour!

I love seeing the overall shots of your garden. It is so pretty and lively. I can't imagine having a palm tree in my garden. They are exotics here. Do you ever have parrots come into your garden?
