Day's # 18 and 19.

I am behind again on my meme. So I will do two days in a row again to keep up!
----------------------------------------------
Day 18- Something I regret!

I'm sure there are too many things to mention here, but the one thing that always immediately comes to mind is that I wish I had kept up my playing of the flute!

I played until middle school, and quit completely for high school, when I think it would have been so great to have been in the marching band! It could have changed my life...broadened my horizons.
and...
I regret not having become a librarian.

----------------------------------------------
Day #19- Something I miss.

I miss my Dad. He died many years ago, and I still talk to him under the stars at night. He was a great Dad/person. I was so fortunate to have had him.
----------------------------------------------
Life has been so busy...flying by each day! I am even doing paperwork at home in the evenings, which just busts my arse! I swore I wouldn't do it...but I have to. I just keep going further and further in the hole if I don't...sadly. Maybe things will change one day...I hope so. Well...actually I am due to have laptop training in May, as we are going paperless at work, so hopefully that will help.

Hope everyone has a lovely hump day (Wednesday)!
xoxo- Julie

We all have regrets. I alway wished that I kept up with my piano lessons. I took up guitar a few years ago but I don't play enough to do well with it. Still can't read music. Oh well. You could play flute and I could play guitar together. ha... I hope your laptop work will relieve you of some of the "extra" work. I can certainly type faster than writing things down.

You have mentioned your love of books and libraries before. I hope someday you can at least be a library volunteer in some capacity.

Also, I wanted to say that I like how you have been illustrating your recent posts with little images. For some reason, especially in blog posts, I like pictures with my stories!

I wanted to learn how to play an instrument, but it had to be the piano, and that was out of the question since Dad was in the military (way before electronic keyboards). Maybe it's not too late to learn. I miss him too...

Please try and play flute. It is a beautiful instrument. May be the relaxation that you get from doing your own thing will help you get efficient and timely in other aspects of life. Music is a kind of meditation and that helps the rush rush of life:)

Why don't you pick up your flute? These things are never too late. Better to regret this than something you can't reverse.
I miss my dad as well!

And I can relate to the feeling time is flying.......
Having some me time here at my brother's house, which is nice . But There are just not enough hours in a day!

You make sure you enjoy your me time dear!

I am behind reading these wonderful little tidbits.
Hey, you and I are nurses and to think we could have been librarians together. I always thought that would be such a neat job. (Doesn't say much for nursing does it!) Hang in there with the work, it will get easier as you get more familiar with everything. Keep thinking..."soon I can retire"... lol
