New fav- Sedum rupestre "Angelina" ATC!

I was making some art with my grandson yesterday and just collaged this ATC from magazine photo and words. I love this type of Sedum. Well, the name is so angelic...how can you resist??? The soft starry shape is alluring and I can see a nice hanging bowl of this on my front porch! Below is a pic I found at Upland Nursery. It looks really good next to this other sedum called Sedum Bronze Carpet!!!

I really enjoy seeing your ATCs. I like the black and white you did for Mondays post. I need to start taking some black and white photos also. Have a great day. We are enjoying some sunshine here also. A time to dry out. : )

Here's an interesting plant that I just stumbled on:

The ATC looks like it would be a good way to teach kids plant names. I'll have to remember that one!

Hi Julie
You were asking me about a Finnish bread with cardamom seed. Yes you must mean “pulla”. Is it a sweeter type of bread? Pulla has cardamon seed in it and EVERY Finnish household serves it with coffee. Its one of those things that is always served.
I have a receipe for that one and will send it to you probably tonight when I’m home from work ok?
Have a great day.

I love that stuff too! I have it all over the place, you just break off a little and drop it and it roots. :) Perfect little planty. Also I think the green sedum--maybe I'm mistaken--but I think it is used in Korean cuisine. The bronze one I used to have something like that in Wisconsin. Also very nice!

Mary...You are so lucky!!! I am gonna get me a pot of these going!!!

Lovely plant and ATC, Julie. I've tried growing sedum here but without much success. It must be that I'm planting them in the wrong places--too close to the house and too moist. It's just that they're so appealing I want to look at them as soon as I walk out the door.
