I finally got to make a tea wallet. A particular family member who loves HK, will get this one. It was so fun, easy and fast.
Here's the inside. Holds 4 teabags.
What do you think of this? Are you a tea drinker. Would you carry something like this???  Maybe not HK, but some other lovely print?
The only thing I would do differently if make a flap to come around to front with a plastic snap.

This is a good idea julie. I should make one to take my own tea bags when i go to hospital....their tea tastes like it is made from the droppings on the floor of the factory:-):-):-)

I am definitely a tea drinker. I would use something like this when I travel. It is very cute and useful.

Hi Julie,
Wow, that would make a wonderful gift for the tea lovers in our family/friends. Thanks for sharing. So many ideas I have on my list.
I just purchased at Jo-ann the other day a neat book that I saw on Debs bits and pieces. It is called "patchwork loves embroidery by Gail Pan. I had a great 60% coupon, It has a lot of great projects in it. I hope to do more sewing next year. That is the plan we will see.
Anyway, the weather has been beautiful. The roses are just loving it too. It is hard to believe that I will be cutting them back next month.
Enjoy the rest of your week.
Blessings!

This came out so cute, Julie! Half of me wants to go to the fabric store and find some bug-themed fabric to make one, and the other half would feel a pang of awkwardness at the thought of pulling my own packet of tea out of my purse at a restaurant, or even in someone's house. Like I'm saying, "Your tea isn't good enough, but that's OK. I brought my own!"

But actually, I'm just starting to enjoy a nice hot cup of tea now that it's finally starting to feel like fall.

The tea purse would make a great gift! It would be wonderful to tuck into a gift basket. Thanks for sharing the idea, Julie, and for stopping by to say hi. It's a wonderful feeling to know that I was missed while taking a blogging break:)

I love the fabric you chose for the tea wallet, I made a few last year for a few friends and I was just thinking of making a few more.
