Update

Well, my official diagnosis is Bronchitis. On antibiotic and a new allergy pill. She thinks allergies may be playing a part in my getting sick so often, and seemingly leading to bronchitis each time. I'm sure I will be good as new in a few days now! Thanks for all your kind words to me! I have this evening to lay around. I just put on my nightgown at 5pm! What??? Yeah...I am plannin some serious laying around! Ha.

I feel like I want to take a picture of something for you. Let me go look around...BRB...

OK...how bout some blooming Haworthia Limifolias? They are out of my screenroom and have actually been blooming a few months already! See the very long stalks rising out of them???

And way up at the top you find these white little bells! They are very sweet, but small and hard to see...especially when balancing way up high on slender stalks!

Writing this, reminds me of a song we used to sing as kids (in rounds)...it was called "White Coral Bells"! Did you ever sing it??? It goes like this:
-------------------------
White coral bells
Upon a slender stalk
Lilies of the valley
Deck my garden walk
Oh, don’t you wish
That you could
hear them ring.
That will happen only
when the fairies sing.
-------------------------

Of course, we are not dealing with Lilies of the Valley here, but the white bells part just reminded me of this cute little song. If only some fairies would sing, we would be able to hear the bells ring! Thinking back on childhood memories of this song, and a whole slew of other things it's no wonder I turned into a garden/fairy lover.

Now, if some magic fairies would just come and make me well.....

A few succulent arrangements...

This afternoon I moved a few of my plants around...they had either outgrown their pots, or I had wanted to make an arrangement.

This is my zigzag cactus, or ric rack that I repotted. It is still looking good, and I love the way it grown and its shape...pretty neat!

Now, this is what I had been wanting to do...put these three star shaped plants together. They are all different colors and I think they look great together! The back left is my Dykia marinae lapostele, the back right is Haworthia limafolia, and the front is the Cryptanthus!

Now, I removed my Aptenia cordifolia (Baby Sun Rose)from it's doggy container, and put it all fresh in here so it could have more room to spread! It had some leggy peices, which I cut off and stuck back in...hopefully it will take off growing!

Here is my little curly-que plant which has yet to be indentified. The senecio varieties have not panned out so far, and I am still on the hunt...thanks to all who have taken shots at it so far...hey...feel free to keep looking...I am!!!

This plant is a Sedum furfuraceum...ain't it cute??? Hard to see with the Purlite laced soil. He was getting a little too much sun in the tires (note the fried far right end of it)...so have moved him to a pot on the porch.

And now doggy planter stands alone...waiting to see what his mommy puts in him next!

My new Haworthia...

Well, this is a very cool (awesome) Haworthia! I found it at Walmart today...it was all alone...calling my name to bring it home. It is a Haworthia Limifolia. I love the way it sort of swirls around, and has the ridged leaves! I feel dizzy if I stare at it too long!!! The dark green coloring is also very nice. It feel hard to the touch, which surprised me, because a lot of haworthia feesl kinda juicy, since it is so full of water...so...anyway...just thought everyone would love to see this fine feller!!
