My daughter and I went to see the movie this afternoon, and what a wonderful, fun, movie for a mom and daughter to see together. It does have some sexual inuendo, so I don't think I would have been comfortable with someone under age 15 or so seeing it. I know I am a prude.....but this movie was JUST GREAT!!! I highly recommend it. The theater was packed, and they were running it in 3 seperate theaters out of 16.

Hi
Thanks for your sweet comments!!
My mom saw this movie the other day, and has been raving about it ever since. I'm not a big fan of musicals OR Abba, so I probably won't see it, though.
Julie, would I be embarassed to see it with my 70 yo mother? Vickie
Cindy- It is a celebration of womanhood, as far as I can tell. I wish you would give it a go...Meryl Streep sings like a dream! I think I want the soundtrack now...it keeps me happy and singing all darn day! And Peirce Brosnan...there's a hottie...
Vickie- I suppose it depends on your mom. My mom will love it and she is 72. Maybe you should see it first and decide. I can see some people may not feel comfortable with the sexuality.
I've been wanting to see this one, but my husband refuses to go. I guess I'll have to call up a friend, or go alone, which I sometimes do when I really want to see a movie badly enough. I was 49 years old before I went to a movie alone. Hard to believe!

I went to see 'Mama Mia' last week with my Mum and Dad, both in their 70's, and we ALL loved it!!! We would definitely watch it again. I mustn't be a prude because I didn't find anything sexually over the top compared to the average things they show nowadays but that's just me.
Wasn't Meryl Streep's voice simply divine?!
Aiyana- I suggest seeing it with a female, or alone...it is not a film for men really.
Serena- YES...I am hooked on Meryls voice!!!!!
Hi Julie, I just saw this movie yesterday and I absolutely loved it. It was a very sweet story. Meryl Streep was excellent and I just loved Christine Baranski.
Donna- I'm so glad you loved it! I have been just so happy, singing the songs over and over and sort of skipping through my days since seeing it. LOL.
