Should I call this my Great Horned Owl??? I had one of these stalks come up about 2 months ago, and since then, a few more have slowly popped out. I count 7 now. The flowers are teeny-tiny, and fall off rather quickly, then you are just left with the stalks! This is the first time one of my Fittonias have bloomed and it is kinda fun to watch!

Life On The Balcony. It is definately my favorite indoor houseplant!

have you ever seen an aloe bloom? or a howorthia? they are very similar only very skinny!

I've always liked fitonia... I used to have one in a terrarium. I'm afraid that's the only way I can keep them alive, they need the extra humidity here. I think I remember you buying that pot a while ago...

He kinda does look like he's growing horns, doesn't he? lol I don't think I've ever seen one of these in bloom so WOW!
