Easiest treatment for Leaf Miners!!!

It has been two weeks since I sprinkled garlic powder on the soil and watered it in. No sign of any leaf miners returning! The plants have taken off in growth and are ready to be harvested soon! They look just wonderful!!! Thanks again Claude!

Those leafy greens look great Julie. Good tip too. I need to write that one down.

The photo at the top of your blog is beautiful. A great idea for jewlery making. The colors are a great combination.

Have a wonderful weekend.
Blessings,
Bobbie Lynn

I thought the garlic thing was just a myth, but recently I've heard of a lot of people trying it and it actually working.

I placed garlic cloves and it didn't really seem to do much. I'll try the powdered garlic because those miners really get on my nerves!

tee hee have no idea what leaf miners are, is it a troop of busy little ants mining into the leaves, or something far worse, will go and look it up. love your header julie, it sings.

hey, don't thank me, it was my Grandma who told me... she used to do the whole boil garlic and all that, but once she tried the powder, to see what would happen, and it worked... I guess that's where I get my experimental gardening instinct from... happy it works. She did repeat the treatment every so often, I think it might be about time for a lighter, refresher treatment...

Now garlic for leaf miners is something I'd never heard of before. Thanks to you and Claude for the tip.
