My rock garden!

Tonight I decided that since I cannot keep anything alive in this glass jar, I would like to pour all my unused rocks/stones/pebbles, and just admire them! The sparkly blue ones really make them look nice. I have a rock collection like some folks collect jars of buttons! I'm sure this is because of two reasons. The first is our lack of rocks here in south Florida, and the second is that I like miniature things. This is perfect for me!

I have these little resin turtles running all around on my windowsill in the kitchen, and I don't even know where they all came from. There are 4 of them, and seriously, they just started appearing at my house, one by one, several years ago now...and to this day I have no idea who brought them in. They are so cute, I have them climbing in my pots, and just walking around. This one got into my jar of rocks, and is now deciding to climb out...isn't that cute! I had taken a picture of the other three, but it isn't showing up when I upload my pics...so maybe tomorrow I will get a pic of the rest of these scoundrels!

Hope everyone had a nice Thursday, and will have a fun and safe 4th of July!

I made a few ATC's...one last night at around 2am in the morning, and one just a few minutes ago...a kinda silly little kitty one. Posted them on the ATC blog.

Tomorrow starts our vacation for two weeks, and I will be making ATC's for each place we visit...so keep your eyes peeled to the blog for those coming over the next days/weeks! My Mom came up with that idea, and I loved it! I am taking my supplies with me on the road! I will have my laptop, so can check in and post here and there.

Goodnight for today! Julie

Have a wonderful vacation! And next time you are going to Arcadia you will have to let me know. It;s about an hour and a half drive for me, maybe 2. No, my Aunt has only lived there since about the time of hurrican Charley - a tree fell on her house only two weeks after moving there. Vickie

Vickie- I will!!! Only next time I will definately go at a cooler time of year! You know they are having a bull riding /rodeo this weekend for July 4th! I have a friend who loves bull riding, but sadly I can't go over with her because of vacation. I want to see what her fascination is all about! One day!

Have a wonderful time Julie! Are you headed up to Savannah? I know that whatever you do, it will be magical. You have such a lovely way of appreciating all of life's special little gifts. Drive safely and send us stories!
