"Life is like a box of chocolates!

You never know what you will get"- Quote by Forrest Gump

How do you like this succulent chocolate box puzzle my Mom found for "us" to work on! She helped us start it, and, luckily my daugher has taken a slight interest and has been helping to fill it in. We put all the chocolate parts together first, and then the edge peices. It is actually quite pretty with all the colors and shapes...now if only I could eat them all up!

I am in the mood for one of those chocolate/caramel/nuts covered apples on a stick. They ones that have so many coatings you can only eat a slice before being sick to your stomach!! We have a Kilwins Ice Cream and Candy shop here, and I saw some there (fresh made) about a month ago, and have never gotten the vision out of my head! It is a very fallish thing to have, if you ask me...and about the right time for me to get one...and chomp it down!

Still counting down the days to my 9 days off...2 more work days to go!!!

I adore doing jigsaw puzzles but I can't do them anymore because of living in a small place. But the biggest reason is living with a cat who'll knock the pieces around. I hate it when there are missing pieces!!I have a friend who has a jigsaw puzzle shop called "I'm Puzzled." She does a great bit of business.

oh Julie you're killing me with the caramel candy apples! I want one too. How about we split one?

thanks for the suggestions of jello and metamucil- I might just have to try that. Right now I mix oat bran into her scrambled egg (she likes to have one most evenings) and that was working a little too well for a few days if you know what I mean.

OMG, what a challenging puzzle this is. We love doing them also, but I must admit, when DH really gets into one, I leave and go sketch--never misses me lol.

Now THERE'S a fun puzzle to do! My roomie's family has a tradition of doing a puzzle on Christmas Day, but they're often full of blue skies or leaves or difficult rocks....

That is one thing I used to get when attending the AZ State Fair. I avoided most of the other treats, but loved those caramel apples! The fair is going on right now, but I haven't attended in more than 10 years. It's more of a commercial thing now--the exhibits are just not the same center of attention as they once were.
What are you going to do with your 9 days?

Whatever you do, don't eat the puzzle...

Isn't your birthday coming up? I think you deserve a candy apple for a birthday treat. Go for it...
