I have just ordered these pens!

Now, this is a total news flash for me! I have been searching(locally) for years, for the fine point pen I used to use prior to Sharpies...it was called the Pilot Razor Point Pen. These were not permanent, but they wrote so smoothly and thinly for letter writing (which was all I did back then)! I thought I should check and see if I could find any online tonight...and Yes, I did.....but I wasn't happy that they were not permanent! I refined my search for a PERMANENT Pilot Razor Point, and LOOK AT WHAT I FOUND!!! I just ordered all 4. WOW! After all these years, I am seriously thrilled!!!
Have a happy weekend...Julie

So are these thinner than the ultra fine point sharpies? Or better in some other way? Or is it just brand loyalty and sentimental value that makes them so special?

Cindy- I will have to let you know...it has been 10 years at a minimum since I have used one. I am hoping they will be thinner than the ultra fine Sharpies!!!

Sometimes you can be so hooked on certain pens, I know this feeling. I buy a lot of pens and markers, kind of tic......

Your Sharpies look great too, I bought retractable sharpies a while ago, they are great too. In China I bought micron pens, about half the price as in the USA (where they are already cheaper than in Holland)

Have fun with your pens!

I have used these a long time ago also and I remember that they are very smooth. When you get something show us how you like them.

Isn't it funny the way these small things excite us?!

Such a cute photo of Doozey on the right.

Julie I just ordered them too. I am always looking for an ultra fine point pen in colors. The big stores never seem to carry those that are fine enough. Did you use your discount code "signup?" ....10% off.

I love my Pilot pens. I had to go to my bag to see what I had: Pilot precise V extra fine rolling ball. It doesn't say permenant. I'm glad you found exactly what you wanted.

Well, I espect wondrous arwork over the next two weeks or so... LOL

We all have sentimental attachments to certain things, lord knows why... mine is papermate fine points, even though you had to periodically wipe of the glob of ink on the end when you were using them...

My favorite pen is the old fashioned papermate FLARE in black. It's a felt tip but more of a medium. I don't like using fine points. My favorite ink pen used to be the fat Bic Click but I odn't see those anymore. I actually address packages with the regular sharpie marker - it makes my handwriting look good! LOL

Vickie- I lived on those old Bic Clics...wish we could still get them...they were wonderful!
