They are all so lovely. My favorite is the one in the last picture. Do you know what kind of Kalanchoe it is? I love the way the flowers look.
I like the last one with the double blooms. Kinda looks like those miniature roses. hey! The photos look like they were taken at the garden center - didn't you make it home with even one of them? Don't get strong on us now, LOL !
Donna-One of these two pink ones could be Kalanchoeblossfeldiana 'Calandiva Pink' which has all the normal characteristics of the blossfeldiana type varieties, but it is unique because no other variety is known to have decorative flowers in Kalanchoe. Instead of four flower petals this type has at least 26 flower petals. This is some info I found when trying to research this type of Kalanchoe...I saw these two pink ones today, but have read you can find them at Home Depot in a few different colors!
I'll say my favorite is the last one. I'm a sucker for double blooms. But the first one has the best color. I do not yet have a kalanchoe. I might be getting one tomorrow when I do a trade with a local gardener.
I did not buy one of these today, but now that I am looking at the photos, I may have to get back over there and get one of the double bloomers ASAP! They really are gorgeous...
My fav is the last pink one! Gorgeous!!!
It's tough to choose a favourite so I think I'll go with the general consensus and choose the last one too. :)
Never grew many kalanchoe, but I think I like the red one best. Probably because pink is over represented in my succelent collection right now.
Serena- HI !!! I actually am changing my mond about my fav...the second one, with the same full flowers as the last one, but with the faint pink color, is now my favorite! LOL...I'm fickle!Claude- What a nice nice color to have mostly in your succulents! PINK!!!
My personal favourite is the last one, although going by the look of them they all are in the category of must-haves!
Wow, I have never seen doubles. Otherwise I always go for the orange. We just get the normal flowering ones here which seem ordinary. Isn't it sad how easy it is to regard beautiful things as ordinary?
Wow Julie, these are gorgeous!I thought of you today at the Conservatory in Minneapolis, they had bromiliads, just gorgeous ones. I took some photos and will try to get them on my blog when life gets back to normal.
Next to last for color, last for flowers. However, the last one is probably my favorite all things considered. I had no idea Kalanchoe came in such variety of color.Aiyana
Hi everyone...just got home from Orlando for the weekend...met some grandkids and kids there...had fun! I agree, these darn Kalanchoe are just gorgeous, and now I think I must have them all in one pot!!! LOLOL...Teri- can't wait to see your pics of the Bromeliads!!!
ALL OF THEM!!! I've never seen those double kalanchoes, Julie. Something new every day! And those orange tones? Just gorgeous.
I really like the one with the light pink flowers. I want one of them!
I always did love kalanchoe...esp the salmon colored ones!
I like the first one. I believe I bought a variation of this plant for .50 cents but it only grew on one side and the side that grew twisted into a complete circle but has yet to grow any flowers. I'll have to post it and have you give me your professional opinion.
Not so crafty- Yes...please do post your plant...it will be interesting to see!
