Aloe Mandala

I was thinking of how I could make a mandala using any program I may own, from images...and I remembered my old Create A card program, which allows me to turn images. I was so excited just to try an experiment...and here is my first attempt at a succulent one! LOL. I thought the long aloe stalks would make a good mandala...and I love how the center looks with all of the images together. I few stars added for a sparkly touch...and voila...

Hey, one thing Wikipedia says regarding mandalas is that in the West, a mandala is used to refer to the "personal world" in which one lives, the various elements of the mandala or the activities and interests in which one engages, the most important being at the centre of the mandala and the least important at the periphery.

This one is me...succulents and stars! :)

I like mandalas. Have you ever tried Krazy Dad's Kaleidoscope Maker? It's easy and fun (and addictive) and turns any picture on the web into a mandala-like kaleidoscopic image. I made some last year and posted them here and ,here.

I remember your kaleidoscopes, and had even gone to Krazy Dad's when you made yours! Maybe I will try one using succulent plants! LOL. Thanks for reminding me! :)

Pudgeduck--- OK...but if anybody moves, it will be me coming out west, OK? LOL. You know...it is a fantasy for me because I cannot leave my family here, and they won't move out...so I will probably die somewhere on the east coast, sadly. I better plan more trips out there...actually I am working on my husband for a trip out to Utah state parks next summer! I know it's hot, but I am forced to visit in the summers.
