I love the weeds that put out pretty flowers. I think I saw a saying "Weeds are flowers that have not been named." Something that that. Very pretty weeds you have Julie.

I have seen many of the same "weeds" around town and I agree, they're beautiful! Since they're just ephemeral I don't think it hurts to let them finish flowering...

I can see why you want to put off moving - they are pretty!

Wouldn't life have been so much easier if the powers that be had classified 'weeds' as legitimate plants to grow in our gardens and lawns? They seem to thrive under any conditions. lol

Oh, and I agree, they do have pretty flowers. There are a few weeds flowering around my yard at the moment...they took full advantage when my lawn died back recently ~ :)

Funny, I have been taking pictures of weeds lately too. The song "I'm looking over a four-leaf clover" will be in my head all day now. Cheers.

Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder. Just because weeds are common is no reason why we should despise them. Look at the photographs in your blog, they are beautiful. If I were you I wont bother my dear hubby with mowing and all.

Ha, I can relate. When the "weeds" are doing their thing and the garden looks so lush and full of blooms, I can't bring myself to pull or trim them.

no! NO! unless I have lost my marbles too. I love weeds, and I hate "roundup" (weed poison)...let the weeds grow I say!!

I don't get the whole "weed" concept. One of the most gorgeous lawns in our neighborhood this month was full of something that looked like wild crocus. It was really beautiful.
